My first impression, "Here we go again with the, "New York Style Pizza"." My second impression, upon entering the restaurant, was good. It actually did feel like a NY/NJ pizza place.
What I ate: A slice of pepperoni, with a side Caesar salad and a drink - one of their lunch specials.
Rating: 2 Stars out of 5.
- The slice was thicker than what I expected as a typical NY slice of pizza. That was good. I don't like the super slim, greasy slices.
- It was a satisfying slice and the first two bites were on pace for a 3 star slice. By the time I was done, it was just another slice.
- I was glad I didn't get a second slice.
- A day later, I realized I have no plans to eat there again.
- Those 3 points above are the exact definition of a 2 star slice.
Have you been to a different Garlic Knot? If so, what did you think?
we get Garlic Knot here at the office a couple times a month. we order a pizza made to order, I am guessing the lunch special slices were made at some point during the morning. I would agree with you its not the best out there, but I think it is one of the better ones around this area.
